Contrary to the belief that it's a good thing to continue a war, till one side, stops continuing to exist...there's no "Good War"...they, stop existing after WWII, as Studs Terkel elegantly wrote.
Ever since then, all we've had, are wars for profit...Ike warned us of the Military Industrial Complex, and Kennedy got suckered in. He realized it was a mistake, and decided to get out...but Dallas blocked those plans. How about under the table deals, involving the trade of Arms for Drugs...or giving WMD's and Chemical Weapons, to combat Iran and the Ayatollah. Still amazed, where the hell did Saddam ever hide whatever he had left...not counting what he used on the Kurds and the Shiites? And how about the Soviet Union? To every Russian, Afghanistan is 'their' Vietnam...the first time the staunchly proud Soviet Red Army, ever retreated from a battle. And who in the Mujahedin received an order of endless supplies of care packages, via FedEx/CIA next day air, to wipe out the Russkies? Osama what's his name!!...and you know his fate, too.
America is no Saint in the act of War and Politics...with that in mind, neither is anyone else...we're all sinners. We shouldn't get hysterical with the antics between the US, the United Nations, Russia, Israel, and Palestine...at the end, we're the ones with our blood pressure, up the roof...and 'they' don't give a shit!! What can we do? use the intellect God gave us, and find tangible working solutions that will inspire you're favorite politicos...the most basic way of citizens, exercising their voice...activism at its best.
This is not an issue of Political Parties...Presidents, Administrations, both Republicans and Democrats...all are guilty!! But, what are 'you' going to do about it, right at this time? Good for a National Discourse, but it's not stopping the killings. As bad as it is...it can get even worse. The GOP wants some sort of confrontation...no coincidence...so does the Military Industry Lobby. Again, all Political and Big $$$.
War is inhuman, a morally dishonorable act fought by honorable men..."Peace" is the only humane alternative, to the constant killing of generations after generations of families...reason has to eventually, win out...prey that's sooner, rather than later. But that's a big expectation!!

We condemn other countries...even condemn President Obama about killing civilians...yet we don't condemn Israel. Why?
Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) insisted he was totally comfortable, with Israel killing thousands of civilians in the current war...if it meant wiping out Hamas. "It's worth it", said Kirk. This 'warning' to the President...is it suppose to instill fear on Obama? because if they think, they're going to manipulate a "Low Poll Ratings" President...don't underestimate Barack Obama. Low Poll ratings tend to rise in times of crisis...as it did for another one, on a sunny Sept.11th morning...things, tend to turn around rather quickly. Republicans are playing with fire...and in an election year? it looks like a death wish.
To make a long story, short. The GOP does not want anyone to negotiate a Peace Treaty...allow one side to systematically, destroy the other...while condemning the other, for everything that's happened. They believe in the total annihilation of a political/para-military organization...the overthrow of a Government, along with as many civilian deaths as it takes...without ever the thought, that Hamas is a an organization, that like all other Middle Eastern entities, self-replenishes. They're not going away, ever!! while legalized violence towards human beings, exist...peace, is the most morally human thing, civilized people can accomplish. Not wanting or allowing someone to make peace...is indecent!! This is what the GOP stands for...blatant immoral hypocrisy. "Obama drones are killing civilians, we must stop the killing of civilians in wars!!" The GOP doesn't care who dies, whether it's in our schools or in our streets...crazies, saying to kill the kids crossing over the border...so, why should they care about kids and civilians in other countries?
This, is your GOP...the acknowledgment, that they feel comfortable with killing civilians at an acceptable level....wonder how they feel about Mutually Assured Destruction? What Republicans are truly all about: The world, for the Rich and the Famous...trickle a buck or two, to those ignorant inside the middle class, for their vote...and the infamous Royal Screw Job to the Poor!! If you make $160,000/yr or more...you get a $2,200 Tax Cut. If you make $14,000/yr or less...you lose $1,725. Makes sense?? only, if you're rich. Republicans love kids...if their parents have a lot of $$$. They just proved, that they absolutely don't give a rat's ass for those less fortunate.
Now, you will find Dumbo believers, trolling around...extolling all the virtues of Republicanism. Why is it a good thing to help the rich?? and why is it a good thing, to take it away from the poor...and give it to the rich?? a little touch of oligarchical flair, to all this. They will throw their everlasting supply of political horseshit, to convince you, why all this done by the GOP is what's right for America...what's right for business. Then throw-in economics into the picture...specially since 90% of the population doesn't have a clue, unless you speak to them in very layman's terms...which is, why they don't!! Nothing gets accomplished, except repealing Obamacare 50+ times...so far. This House vote? will get nowhere in the Senate...like every other bill sent, just so they can keep their record alive...for not passing anything!!
The GOP's open arms' welcome of the Tea Party movement, onto the national stage, has become a very unwelcome proposition...and with elections less than 100 days away...a very sticky divorce, they don't need at this time. Who led us into the greatest depression in US History? and who's led us in the highest unemployment rates? Conservatives!!. Who have publicly acknowledged by their words and/or actions, they don't care about the Poor, about the Sick, about the Hungry, about the Elderly, or about the Youth? Conservatives, that's who!!
Now, who's led this country out of a depression? and who's led this country, out of our worst recessions? Who cares for the Sick, the Poor, the Hungry, the Elderly, the Young...and the Mothers? Liberals, that's who!!
Be proud of being a Liberal, and shout it out loud!! Because of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, and other plans implemented...all of us, Liberals, Conservatives, Rich, or Poor...have enjoyed a much finer quality of life, than anyone else in the world!!

Rick Perry remembers the Alamo, and braces for the Invasion of the dastardly Fruity Loops

Rick Perry, the Master of Oops, appears he really wants to run for President...just, one more time. This whole spectacle on the US/Mexico Border, is all election cycle Political Grandstanding...a very expensive political reality show, to put on. But what's $$$ to Rick Perry?? it's the Taxpayers'.
The genius of this man...send in a force of 1,000 National Guardsman to help protect the Border, against an invading force of pre-teen kids. His actions?? "I will not stand idly by while American Citizens are attacked". As Jon Stewart said; "Don't call it an invasion, till the invaders can reach and open their own cereal boxes"!! In Perry's statement, while mentioning American Citizens being attacked, he also mentioned "children living in squalor". Unless he meant American kids on the Texas border, which with Perry's Texas Welfare policies, is very probable...he's talking about the invaders!! And if they live in squalor, why would he care, if he doesn't want them to come in, anyhow??
This, is just a living testament on how to exploit a tragedy for political gains...and in Rick Perry's case, it will eventually backfire, like always...for just, another "oops" moment.
This whole experiment in absolute stupidity, comes with a heavy price tag; The estimated cost to state taxpayers is $5,000,000/week. Perry said, he doesn't know where the money will come from, and is hoping the Federal Government will reimburse the state's expenses...this way, we pay the bill, not Texas...just like Greg Abbott said; “Texas is willing to put the boots on the ground but Washington is going to foot the bill".
Now, the irony of this story is...the Sheriffs on the Border, don't want the military in there!! “I don’t know what good they can do,” said Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio “I need people who I can hire who know the community, the language and who can help.” Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra, echoed Lucio's thoughts. Apparently, Texas' Sheriffs along the Border, prefer to hire new Deputies with what $5 million/week brings in. Probably, from all those Sheriff Deputies on layoffs throughout the State, due to Rick's budget cuts!!

Rick Perry, the Master of Oops, appears he really wants to run for President...just, one more time. This whole spectacle on the US/Mexico Border, is all election cycle Political Grandstanding...a very expensive political reality show, to put on. But what's $$$ to Rick Perry?? it's the Taxpayers'.
The genius of this man...send in a force of 1,000 National Guardsman to help protect the Border, against an invading force of pre-teen kids. His actions?? "I will not stand idly by while American Citizens are attacked". As Jon Stewart said; "Don't call it an invasion, till the invaders can reach and open their own cereal boxes"!! In Perry's statement, while mentioning American Citizens being attacked, he also mentioned "children living in squalor". Unless he meant American kids on the Texas border, which with Perry's Texas Welfare policies, is very probable...he's talking about the invaders!! And if they live in squalor, why would he care, if he doesn't want them to come in, anyhow??
This, is just a living testament on how to exploit a tragedy for political gains...and in Rick Perry's case, it will eventually backfire, like always...for just, another "oops" moment.
This whole experiment in absolute stupidity, comes with a heavy price tag; The estimated cost to state taxpayers is $5,000,000/week. Perry said, he doesn't know where the money will come from, and is hoping the Federal Government will reimburse the state's expenses...this way, we pay the bill, not Texas...just like Greg Abbott said; “Texas is willing to put the boots on the ground but Washington is going to foot the bill".
Now, the irony of this story is...the Sheriffs on the Border, don't want the military in there!! “I don’t know what good they can do,” said Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio “I need people who I can hire who know the community, the language and who can help.” Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra, echoed Lucio's thoughts. Apparently, Texas' Sheriffs along the Border, prefer to hire new Deputies with what $5 million/week brings in. Probably, from all those Sheriff Deputies on layoffs throughout the State, due to Rick's budget cuts!!

A stupid mistake for a politician to avoid: If you lose an election, don't carpetbag yourself across state line, and then, re-market yourself as one of them!! Stupid Mistake #2?? Don't ever pull that stunt in New Hampshire!! After losing the Women by 18 points in Massachusetts...this self-proclaimed astute, former Colonel with the Judge Advocate General's Corps, Real Estate Lawyer, Model, and Cosmopolitan Centerfold...decided his name was mud in Mass, so why not move across the border, to the Granite State??
But something happened on his way to Concord...New Hampshire, that is. Scott Brown may know...though, it appears he doesn't...Massachusetts Politics. He certainly doesn't know the "Live Free or Die" mindset on Political Candidates. New Hampshire treats politics and politicians a little different, than the rest of the country...they take their Politics seriously...political ads are a non-factor in New Hampshire. If you want to meet a candidate, have him or her come over to your house...and talk around the kitchen table, along with a house full of neighbors. Local diners and coffee shops are
also meeting places, to meet the candidates...and the big difference, is nthat it doesn't matter whether you're Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal...it doesn't matter what Party has more
registered voters, New Hampshire doesn't vote straight party line, if they don't get to talk to you, or listen to you in person?? you may very well lose their vote.
So, Scott Brown decided to play New Hampshire's "Meet the Candidate" exercise. That means sitting at a restaurant, and listening to as many people who come to see you, and ask you as many screwball questions as they want...no 'can' responses either...New Hampshireites don't enjoy bullshit artists...and worse, they don't enjoy "Flatlanders". If there's one thing that makes their blood boil, is a dumb Flatlander from Massachusetts.You must live in the Granite State, to understand their culture. The spectacle of Scott Brown hiding in the little boys room, in order to stonewall an answer...then running out to his car and quickly driving away...is an embarrassment and an insult to those people who came out to see him. He may win his primary, in September...but, expect him to pack his carpet
and his bags...and shuffle out to greener pastures.

Corporations...it's not about "Public" Corporations where stockholders come in every color, race, and creed. It'll never succeed with Publicly held Corporations, even if they try the same Court route, for that ruling.
Still, it's an issue in which SCOTUS was morally wrong. The Employer just pays for his Group
Insurance...the Employee is the one who pays the premiums...and no one should have the right to tell his or her employee, what they may do, or how they should administer their own personal, Medical Plan. And the bullshit that Employers' Group Rates will increase with Obamacare??...is simply bullshit!! They are getting a better discount on Group Rates, than ever before. The entire Medical Insurance Industry is currently riding on a high, while treading in unfamiliar waters...never
experienced before. The complaints?? all Republican!!...they hate to see things going right, when they can't take the credit!!
The Supreme Court's decision was another prime example of how 5 Conservative non-theologian Justices, continue to 'politically interpret' Religious Freedom...from arguments made by Christians who interpret their 'own version' of their Religion. The most disgusting aspect of all this?? 4 of the 5 Conservatives are heavily indebted financially, to all requests from their benevolent benefactors...and to that end...they have managed to legalize Religious Bigotry.

Sounds very articulate!!...specially for a man who once was asked about the age of the Earth, for which this self-proclaimed savior...who's "the only person that can beat Hillary"...said: "I'm not a Scientist, man!!"
He's publicly claimed, he's not a Scientist...and the whole world agrees...but, he believes that our Climate problems are not as bad as 99.9% of professional scientists, all over the world...says it is. With Miami scheduled to go under, as Sea Levels rise, it appears that concern in South Florida has risen sharply among the population...with the exception of those elected, to solve these problems.
For Rubio and Gov. Rick Scott?? what problem?? to people like Rubio and Scott, it's the problem of our future generations...the 'screw them' "Reagan Republican mentality", because 100 years from now we won't be around, anyhow.
Is Marco Rubio, truly an Idiot?? as Mayor Philip Stoddard believes...or is he just simply a fool, behaving like the good bitch for his political benefactors??. Either way, he's an insult to his
constituency, who are demanding some type action. The biggest insult, is that he lives there...and knows what is morally right and morally wrong. His excuse?? "It's bad for the economy".

A Business Consultant, who happens to be Speaker of the House, wants to challenge a Constitutional Lawyer/Professor, who happens to be President of the United States...on the constitutionality of the Constitution. And do it, on behalf of the US House of Representatives!!...with all expenses paid, courtesy of the taxpayers of the United States!!
With a track record for least accomplishments by any Congress in history. His reputation as a master in the art of political fornication, is all he has going for him...all, just to keep his precious Speakership Throne. He has become the fool of the old establishment...entertaining the "New" Republicans with old fashioned Political Grandstanding, that's not going to go anywhere, and if it does?...it will end in another political embarrassment.
John Boehner has absolutely nothing left to offer his grand old party, no one has him in their dance card...just more embarrassments for Republicans, and their failure in Congress to pass any laws. Though he acts like a stupid buffoon, most of the time, John Boehner is not a stupid man. With his failure as Speaker...why would he want so much more humiliation?? History won't change...the fact that under his leadership, Congress has been the least productive, in the history of the United States...the fact that his personal character, has been trashed throughout the political world. Resign and walk away...that's what a respectful gentleman would do. Pass the torch to a better man...not stay on, just to satisfy egos, self-gratifications, and financial gains. The House Ethics Committee, eliminates the "Ethics Rule"...and does it, in secret!! Really Ethical!! Well, we all know how Ethical the GOP is, today.
The GOP unwritten code: Do not ever pass a single bill, from the black guy...and do not ever pass up a single trip, from your favorite Lobbyist. Their sheer arrogance!!...they knew it was completely unethical...and they also knew, the outrage when the public became aware. So, they did it in a Secret meeting!!...there's something unethical about holding a public meeting, in private. And they would've gotten away with it, if they didn't get busted!! 'This', is just more proof of who their true friends, really are...and 99% of us, are not one of them.
You wonder why seemingly educated people, would try such a political stunt??...that publicly exposes their insatiable greed, for the good old American Dollar!! With elections right around the corner...are they really that stupid?? or is it the tainted Tea, that's quickly becoming the Republican's Kool-Aid??

Tunes of the old Democratic Party standard, "Happy Days Are Here Again", are resonating throughout the world of Economics...while the GOP appears dazed and confused, wondering why they just can't ever, get it right!! They'll find someone to blame for all this success...personally, I blame Obama!!
The news was not just a big 'Slap' at the GOP's Chicken Little theory..."It's the end of our existence, the Economy is being destroyed by Socialists"...it was a 1-2 Knock Out punch!! First, the news that the DOW reached another milestone of uncharted territory. For the record; The Dow's rise during Bill Clinton's 8 years, was the largest in history...around +7, 010.23...and Clinton became the first President to preside over an economy, while the Dow went over the 10k Mark. In George W. Bush's 8 years, the Dow's rise was +2,985.72...or somewhere around there (couldn't crunch all the numbers...but, it's close). Obama's figures are slightly over +2,000...with 2 more years to go.
Then came the second bit of news...'that', has caused the Republicans some swallowing problems: 1) Unemployment is Down to 6.1% . 2) 288,000 jobs were added in June. 3) 2.3 million jobs in the last 12 months. 4) Hourly wages up 0.2% in June, and up 2% in the past 12 months. 5) Yields on benchmark 10 Year Treasury rose. And the overwhelming majority of the jobs, are in the private sector!!
Overall public opinion and conventional wisdom, hasn't been too kind to any faction of the Republican Party, lately...except, somewhat in "Political" Court Decisions. But, for the next few days...FOXNews, Boehner, Limbaugh, Beck, Palin, and for sure...Ted Cruz...will spin their bullshit, and rewrite the scenario. Demonstrating how, by doing absolutely nothing...they still have the face and the gull, to take credit for others' accomplishments. And when those 15min of BS sound bytes, becomes another mere moment of political public embarrassment? Back to Obamacare!! And if that becomes too boring??...you'll always have Benghazi!!

She must have been, one busy woman between 95 and 97!! She began her “Unpaid" Internship at the White House, for Leon Panetta, in July of 1995…by December of 95, she had a fully paid position at the White House’s Legislative Affairs Office. She’s no Virgin, on the practice of how to make friends and influence people…and, how get ahead in the political world.
Now!! does it surprise anyone, of her sudden re-birth into the Great American Political Show?? Oh!! of course!! there’s these little rumors flying around, here and there…that Hillary may be running for President in 2016!! Does anyone really care anymore??…or have they ever did?? With a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and a Master’s in Social Psychology… you would’ve expected her to move on with her life, by now…in a new career. But, she hasn’t held any formal employment, since she worked at the Pentagon…before the scandal. She’s dabbled into Fashion, done a little writing, and has become a entertainment personality…but, has never reached the political heights, she envisioned for herself…before her Virginity was humiliated.
