The GOP, And The Degeneration Of Their Soul

 by RF Schatten

The problem of power is how to achieve its responsible use rather than its irresponsible and indulgent use...of how to get men of power to live for the public rather than off the public.... Robert F. Kennedy.
Bobby Kennedy, was a Civil Servant, he worked “For the People”. Today, even the word “Civil Servant” is as non-existent, as “Statesman”. We have lost something terribly in America...maybe, it's that Eloquence in Political Speech, that inspires the Soul...instead, we have a constant rhetoric...that inspires Delusional Fanaticism. “Beware of False Prophets”, they say.

I grew up, when there was, a much different Republican Party...I might not have agreed with them, all the time, but I respected them. Barry Goldwater, Nelson Rockefeller, Everett Dirksen, Hugh Scott...all different, some more conservative, some more liberal...all Republicans, though. But, they were all Gentlemen, all Statesmen, and, all believed that there job, was to serve the people...they believed, in being part of the “Loyal” Opposition...as were the Democrats, when they were in the minority.

They understood, that, to be able to hold the power of “Advice and Consent”, meant for all Political Parties, to work together, in the spirit of Bipartisanship...with one common goal; the Welfare of our Nation. To put bickering aside, and work together. There are times, when each side, has to stand tough, for what they believe in, naturally. But there was always a common ground...and, they usually found one. They were all descent, respectful, human beings...people of Principles, of Ethical standards...with an Aura of Civility...who, worked with the other side of the aisle, and kept the Government running smoothly. Agree or disagree with them...but they were truly; The Grand Old Party.

The GOP today, has no semblance of those days. The Statesmanship, has been replaced by rude Demagoguery, Decency replaced by Indecency, Respect replaced by Disrespect...to the highest degree. And Ethical Standards, replaced by the Unethical....Civility, is not in their vocabulary anymore. Today, the Republican Party, just doesn't care to put personal issues aside, for the good of the country...they don't care if they bring the Nation down, to achieve their selfish goals...they have even stated this, publicly!...their cynicism, goes beyond any political behavior...it has become personal, spewing Hatred, Fear, Bigotry, and Racism...they may publicly say, that they are not Racists, but their actions, speak for themselves. Their Disrespect for the office of the Presidency, is the most intolerable act, in the History of this Nation. The President of the United States, is the Leader of this Country...the Leader of the Free World. There was a time, when the Office of the President, commanded a certain amount of Respect...like him or not...the President is “your” leader, he's “our leader. What is said, about our current President, even in an Official capacity...shows the value of the character, that the GOP, has stooped so low. Even worse, the World is seeing it all...and, we have the gull to criticize other Nations?

This Party, along with their affiliate Tea Party, has done more to hurt this Nation, than anyone, internally, or externally, has ever done, in History. They have purposely blocked every attempt to get this Country back in it's feet, they have blocked benefits to the unemployed, using every hypocritical excuse imaginable...and humiliated those, and disrespected them, as bums, who don't want to work...while all along, hypocritically, giving themselves raises. They want to repeal legislation, allowing the Banking Industry, to continue ripping the public off...of destroying the lives of millions of people, who they, then, can control...the Snidely Whiplashes, who control your loans, your mortgages, and your life, at horrendous interest rates. The Minority Leader of the Senate, even has stated that the only agenda the GOP has, is to make sure, in the defeat of the Presidency in 2012...we are in the middle of 2011, so for the next 1.5 years, the GOP, does not intent to accomplish one solitary thing, and is literally holding this Nation Hostage, blackmailing the Citizenry, to either Vote the President out, or allow the country to destroy itself. That, in any other word, is not, just simply despicable...it is pure, unadulterated Treason.

Just as despicable, is their intentions, about changing so many things, established in this Nation...about tearing and re-writing the Constitution of the United Sates...so to fit their intended agenda. Even, to re-write History, to fit their way of thinking. This Country, has become a Social Class struggle...between the Moderates and Liberals of the Middle Class, and Lower Classes...and the Conservative Middle Class, along with, the Conservative Elitist Aristocracy, plus Corporate America. A Class Struggle, that all signs, show a direction towards the elimination of the Middle Class, and the formation of a Ruling Class Society...run by a Theocratic Oligarchy. The GOP no longer wants an America “Of the People”, but “Of the Elite”...no longer “By the People”, but “By Social Conservative America”...no longer “For the People”, but “For the Corporations”.

In Gandhi's 7 Deadly Sins, he mentions: Wealth without Work, Pleasure without Conscience, Science without Humanity, Knowledge without Character, Politics without Principle, Commerce without Morality, and, Worship without Sacrifice. How many of these, represents today's GOP?

The United States of America, is going through rough times. In the past, we all pulled together, pushing Politics aside...helping one another, caring for one another. Today, you have a faction in this country, who has no intentions of doing just that. The sad truth, is that the GOP today, is just plain jealous, that, after 8 years in power, from which a President, literally, sunk this Nation into such a deep economic hole...the electorate, Voted someone else, into power. That, the person they voted in, happened to be, not of the same shade, as of most of the Republican Party...and that, was just too much for them to withstand. Yes! The issue, of not standing up, for what America needs the most right now...bi-partisan unity...it's Racism. An an issue, that has been laying dormant...and highly exacerbated, for selfish political gains, by the GOP and the Tea Party.

The question, is, how do we eliminate this fanatic evilness, that is choking our nation...this Immoral Cynicism, that is currently occupying the Majority of the Lower Chamber, and the Minority of the Upper Chamber. The GOP claims, that they received a mandate...while in reality, everyone knows, that the results, of recent elections, was more out of anger and frustration, than confidence in the GOP...which, polls show, that the majority of voters,
believe, that the GOP, will fail in accomplishing much, by 2012. That poll, does not appear as a mandate, for the GOP. Yes! the GOP in 2010, has Degenerated to its Lowest Form, they have sold their Soul...to the highest bidder.

Now, more than ever, we, as a people...in a country, that is more and more becoming a “Third World Nation”, as so eloquently written, by Arianna Huffington...need to begin to get involved in our Government...we have to speak out, against the Injustice towards those less fortunate, those suffering from Health issues, who cannot financially afford, to get sick. Against the Hatred, the Fear, and, the Racial and Ethnic violence towards the Blacks, the Hispanics, the Jews, and the Muslim Americans...which is mounting. The Elimination Collective Bargaining to the Public Labor Unions, and laying off Public Sector workers...systematically eliminating the Trade Union System...next, will it be the Private Sector Unions?...even, Child Labor Laws are already being threatened. The continuous movement towards the elimination of Public Education, Social Security, and Welfare, along with Medicaid and Medicare. The threat to Women Rights, and the intrusion into People's Private Lives...and finally, the changing of Laws around the Country...limiting People's Right to Vote.

We have to speak up!! and find real solutions...put all Politicos on notice, that Participatory Democracy is on the rise...and, will not be quieted down, or allow, to be suppressed by the Right Wing, Conservative Media!!

The greatest trick the Devil ever made, was to fool Mankind that he did not exist. The GOP is taking a page out of that, using the “Big Lie” upon this country...Appealing to Prejudice, Appealing to Fear, Demonizing the Enemy, Using Half-Truths and Deceptive Statements, the use of Dysphemisms, Name Calling...and finally, Managing and Controlling the News, at any cost. They perform this act; that GOD is on their side, and...that,“they” are reclaiming God...OPEN YOUR EYES WIDE, America!!...and you'll realize, that it’s not GOD, behind that Face...but, Satan himself, performing his trick, all over again.

A Note To The 21st Century Generation

 by David Arellanes
At times It is hard to admit to our failure of you and your classmates. By completely missing what was happening we failed. We did tell you and your classmates exactly what you say: "If you work hard, stay focused, get good grades, go to college, graduate, then the world would be at your feet.
Your opportunities would be endless." Well...we, your parents and teachers, at the time we were telling you this didn't realize the top 5% of the most wealthy and politically connected in this country and around the world were in the process of taking the rest of us, the working class people, for the fastest ride downhill of our entire lives.
We had no idea that they would screw everyone so they could get 95% of the cherry pie. I would apologize to you and your classmates, but now that we all know what the 5% has done, we now must fight back to put them in there place. To make the lawmakers change the laws. Some laws back to what they once were that protected our economies, and to make new laws to stop the blatant scams the "heads" of Wall Street, insurance and banking have made up to benefit themselves. We cannot change what has happened. But we can change what will happen. But, now you have to make the decision: to be or not to be part of that fight. Of that change that must come for you and your classmates, as well as future generations to come. Because if you and your classmates decide not to be involved with the fight, with the change, with the effort to stop these greedy, self-indulgent super wealthy ego maniacs, then nothing will change for the positive.
Nothing will change the so-called power these individuals try to maintain. So get pissed off. Get angry. You have every right to be, because you have worked hard just to get where you are. Our generation worked hard to get what we had attained, just to have it stolen from us after 30 - 40 or 50 years of work. So let us work together to make these changes happen. When we all work together, then they cannot stop us from making things better for all.

Lessons From Powell's Manifesto

by Margarita Mercure Hibbs

One of the troubles within the Democratic Party (DNC) is that often, we can’t be counted on to focus on 5 main goals, primarily because we don’t even have the attention span of 5 year olds.  We can’t even agree about the 5 goals. How can anyone forget the notion that organizing the Democratic Party is like herding cats?  Every single interest group can make cogent and sustained arguments about the legitimacy of their cause, but fail in one key aspect; consistent cooperation and collaboration.

For purposes of illustration, let us look at the labor community.  Aside from being the historical and present fighters for worker’s rights and employment justice, labor unions will always be strong proponents for the working man.  Another portion of their regard for Labor Unions is the big money that they represent to political campaigns.  Reality is that it takes a great deal of money to run for political office. The sad part is that Labor Unions at times, appear to exhibit the barest concern for interests held by other members of the DNC family.  Is this perception correct?  Obviously, this is not always true.  Why is this important?  Appearances and perception matter.

There is a wonderful book called, “All I Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten” by Robert Fulghum, that speaks about the fact that everything you ever need to know about life, you learned in kindergarten.  Or how can anyone forget the teacher commentary on report cards “Does not play well with others.” Most of these principles in early learning were focused on fairness and kindness. We are now faced with an epidemic of self-absorbed communities within the Democratic family.  If we are to succeed in propagating worthy Democratic principles in our country, we must return to the basics of caring.  The basics are really the foundation of who we are as a Party.  Ultimately, if rural America votes against their own best interests, due to ignorance or misinformation, Labor and other communities within the DNC will lose as well. If there is any doubt about this challenge, one only need look at the election results of 2010.

The fact is that the Republican Party (RNC) has been a perfect case study in cooperation and collaboration.  What’s The Matter With Kansas? How Conservatives Won the Heart of America, by Thomas Frank, tells the story of how simple the core or foundation of the RNC has become.  We can argue over the character, integrity, content and hypocrisy of their organization and their individual people, but one can’t argue over the effectiveness of their ability to create a “Horizon Vision Plan” and then stick to it like Gorilla Glue for nearly 40 years.  The DNC began to get traction during the two-year cycle that Howard Dean’s leadership provided.  For example, the “50 State Strategy” is a perfect demonstration of this kind of focus and agenda.

After the success of 2008, funding sources backed organizations that did little of the actual work during those previous 2 to 4 years, and were little more than data aggregation organizations. As a result, many of the competent organizations that actually did the work of voter trend influence no longer exist.  This outcome left talented grassroots’ organizers despondent and rudderless.  The failure of campaigns to listen to these discouraged sages resulted in huge election losses.  As a Rural Advocate, being right about our predictions and rural America’s importance to the DNC, gives me no pleasure, when faced with the devastating political losses of 2010, throughout our country.

Five key points is all that is required for a long-term plan and the RNC has adopted this concept exceedingly well.  Of course we will argue about these 5 keys, after this election, we need to call out the false issues, identify and acknowledge the fact that the DNC, after a fairly successful 2 year cycle in collaboration with the Obama campaign, dropped their entire “Rural Initiative”. The RNC has never dropped their “Rural Initiative” element.  Granted, the initiative is largely lip service efforts constituting community parade participation and special interest help to the elite within the rural region they are cultivating through certain farming legislation aimed at special subsidies for larger farm interests and NRA gun legislation fear mongering.

The constant narrative in rural America, on the part of the Republican Party is that they represent family values.  One of those narratives is that the wealthy are the creators of all jobs and businesses and therefore must be given great latitude regarding taxes and business creation. After all, there must always be gratitude for these job sources; job sources that are largely menial and low paying.  In Torrance County, New Mexico, the average median income for a family of four is less than $22,000 per year. This is well below the national poverty line. Food production at the farm and ranch level is still tremendously hard and physically risky work.  The conservative politician’s job is to hit on a speech speaking to the manufactured social anxieties of rural people, like gun control or gay marriage rights or abortion rights, while never addressing the issue of job creation or business development or improved government services to under served rural regions.

After reading the remainder of this analysis it will be evident that while the traditional labor movements have been divided from an appreciation by rural Americans. In fact, it is easy to see that the demonization of the Unions in the eyes of our target population, rural Americans, was germinated in the precepts of the Lewis Manifesto.  While reading this it is important to remember that this manifesto was written in 1971, after the protests against the Vietnam War and other movements that were carried out by extreme Left Wing organizations.  It is important to note that these extreme Left Wing organizations did not represent the larger Democratic Party or liberal movement of political dialogue. Even Powell acknowledges this reality in the manifesto.

Since that time, the GOP and the Right have promoted the myth that the entire Democratic Party and left in general are extreme and dangerous to America.  In the memo, he believes that corporations were at the mercy of forces, such as unions and leftist public opinion coming from liberal voices in the universities and colleges.   In his view, they were caving to appeasement. For example, in the actual text, Powell makes the following assertions by citing an article from the Wall Street Journal.

“A column recently carried by the Wall Street Journal was entitled: “Memo to GM: Why Not Fight Back?”9 Although addressed to GM by name, the article was a warning to all American business. Columnist St. John said:
“General Motors, like American business in general, is ‘plainly in trouble’ because intellectual bromides have been substituted for a sound intellectual exposition of its point of view.”

So what do we need to learn from the Republican Party?  Where are the roots of their determination?  They are not hard to find.  Look at the Lewis F. Powell Memorandum sent to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in 1971, and there you will find the genesis of this reverence for the very wealthy and in particular the businesses and corporations that create the jobs.  Clearly, there is an assumption of inherent class superiority within the corporate world.  Herein is evidence of the class struggle, as defined indirectly by Mr. Powell himself.

While many in the judicial community regard Lewis F. Powell as a moderate Supreme Court Justice, his memo reflects an extreme Right perspective and contrast to his legal reputation.  Clearly, one can see the roots of the Corporatism of which the RNC committed their hearts and souls to as one of their key principles.  This has been their greatest success.  Corporate interest above human interest is the letter of the day for them. This reverence for corporatism is well established in rural regions where you hear low-income Republicans parroting statements like, “I never heard of a poor man creating jobs.”  Where do we go from here?

Below this narrative are article links on the Lewis F. Powell Memorandum, also known as the Powell Manifesto.  The actual text is also provided in the last link.  Read the major points, as defined by these three articles and see the foundation of a well learned script about the free market system as viewed by Corporatists that insist on being completely unencumbered by any regulation of any kind.  Hence the tremendous amount of money paid out to Lobbyists focused on ensuring that laws and policies are enacted by our politicians in Washington, D.C. and our State legislatures everywhere that aid and abet the corporate agenda.

Labor and the human considerations of fair working conditions and the improvements derived by unions are viewed as necessary obstacles and costs of doing business.  Is it any wonder that big business then continues to move manufacturing where labor is cheap, desperate and willing to accept whatever big business is willing to provide?  When the Labor Movement through its unions and other organizations understand this, they will see the value in collaboration.  The negativity and lack of understanding in rural America regarding the value of Labor Unions is rooted in the Powell Memorandum. The principles of that memorandum have been trumpeted and pounded into the psyche of the working man for the last 40 years.  It is time to dismantle this fallacy in thinking.

Here are a few of the focuses of the Lewis Memorandum of 1971:
  1. Identify the dangerous elements in society that present obstacles to Corporate and free market business,
  2. Be vigilant of elements, people and influences within the educational system through issues like the instructors, textbooks and funding
  3. Maintain Conservative parity, if not dominance in collegiate and university environments to maintain focus on Free Market Ideals that provide political and social imperatives throughout academia, the business construct and society.
  4. Adopt aggressive public relations warfare campaigns focused on swaying through advertising and lobbying public opinion regarding the value of big business
  5. Aggressively support lobbying efforts to improve the tax laws to benefit the corporations and owners of the corporations.
In the process of telling the story, corporations have become larger economic units than some of the worlds’ most affluent nations.   Along with that reality, corporations and their owners have taken ownership of media sources and during that evolution, we have allowed the media community to define the meaning and results.  Some of the definitions are correct, but some are merely convenient fallacies of corporate interests and in the case of political parties, there is a necessity to see the forest for the trees.

A party in denial of certain realities must wake up and return to an understanding that all things are related when it comes to the working man, business and job creation for urban and rural regions equally.  The Democratic Party and Labor Unions have much more to gain by a consistent collaboration with our rural American communities. When all within the DNC family can create five focused tenets of positive collaboration that aids in the transformation of rural America’s ability to thrive, election results in rural America will be vastly improved and different.

To Live Or Die...A Healthcare Dilemma

by RF Schatten

Why should anyone, be allowed to have the best Medical Care possible? If you are sick, and do not have the financial means to see a Doctor...why do you believe, that you have the same right to see someone, that can take care of your problem...the same way, than those, who “can” afford the best care possible? What gives you that right?

If it takes you, more than 5 seconds, to come up with the correct answer...then, you too!! may be one of those people, in this country...who really don't care, about your fellow Human Being. Sadly, there is quite a few out there.

America, is the greatest country on this earth, as we are to believe...so why do we have, as of 2008-2009 Census...46.3 million people uninsured? That total, has obviously risen, though, some scattered early benefits of the Healthcare Reform Bill...has alleviated the situation a bit. We won't see the full impact, of the Bill, for a few more years, when it will be fully implemented.

Along, with all those millions of people, who cannot afford Healthcare...the poverty level in America has increased 13.2 %...that means, that as of 2008, 39.8 million people are living in poverty...a sad tale, for the greatest country on earth. Even worse, is the fact that many are, or will become, seriously ill...with deceases, that can only be treated by competent Physicians, and proper Health Facilities. Politicians, very arrogantly, say; “It's not a problem, let them go to the local County Health Dept...they'll be well taken cared of”.

Obviously, Politicians don't get treated at the County Health Department...if they did, they wouldn't be singing the same tune. The County Health Department Systems, in the United States, are mostly poorly equipped, poorly maintained, understaffed, underfunded...with a bureaucracy, that it's a model, for what the term, “Bureaucracy” means. Very few quality Physicians work in Health Departments, unless they Volunteer their services pro-gratis...and those, are few and far in-between. Mostly, they are run by Physician's Assistants or Nurse Practitioners, and assisted by semi retired RN’s, or RN's who prefer an office atmosphere. A Doctor, is on staff, usually to sign off, as Medical Director...which is the Law. Better come early, though...if you're one of the unfortunates, that has no alternative means, but to go there...you have to spend most of the day, waiting your turn, sometimes up to 8 to 10 hours at a time. If you bring little kids, that is 8-10 hours running after them. If you have no means of transportation, it becomes, even a bigger problem, when it gets late, no more public buses, and it's beginning to get dark. Some will say...that's not true...but, the majority of poor Americans, who have to deal with the County Health Departments...know, how true it is.

Here is a little story...a true story. I was a Respiratory Therapist, for more years, than I want to remember. Around 1977-78, can't remember the exact date...I was working in the Emergency Room of a big city, teaching Hospital...a couple of medical schools, work out of there...it's an inner city, County Facility. It was about 1:00am, when we suddenly got a couple of Trauma Cases...at first, no special attention was made, because, it was a Shock Trauma facility, where, we would get every sort of trauma imaginable to man...coming through the doors throughout the day and night...but on a Saturday Night, a lot of shootings, were always on the menu. This, was one of them...a Black female, in her 40s, with multiple .32 caliber shots to her chest...2 bullets, lodged in her Heart, the Left Anterior Wall...no time for Intubation, to pump Oxygen into her Lungs, no external CPR, was going to help her...the next step, was obvious to everyone...crack the chest open, remove the Rib Cage, and start Internal Heart Massage...I remember this incident, because, that was the first time, that I have ever performed Internal Heart Message...the feeling, of holding that Heart in your hands, and squeezing it, to pump the blood, as fast as you can...was eerie.

What was even stranger...and maybe, why working in Medicine, made me think more on the miracle of the Human Being that God created, the spirit and the will of the Human Body, was that...all along, from the time this Lady was brought in...she was conscious. “Am I going to die?”, she said, screaming and crying... “Am I going to Die?” “Where is my son?” “Is he alright?”... “Where is my son? where is my Baby?”...her son, was in the next room, having CPR administered. They were victims of a drive by “Gang Shooting”...ironically, they both, were innocent bystanders.
Her condition, was grave...99% chance of not making it...and we did, the most we could, till she was transported to OR. All the way down the hall, and on to the Elevator, I kept the massage going...till I got to OR, and relieved by the OR Team. All the way there, she kept saying “Please, take Care of my Boy, my Baby!!” “Please tell God to take Care of Him!”
For the life of me...I can't remember her name, or his...30 years of seeing thousands of people, do that to ya!...but, till the day I die, I will never forget her face. She, did not survive...her son, did...and, according to the team members, that worked on him...someone must have been looking down on him...he had multiple .32 and Gunshot (Buckshot) wounds, all over his body.

That incident, has stood in my mind forever...and I've seen quite a few more, than that. But, it also introduced me, to the Cynicism of Medical Administrative Bureaucracy. About a month or two later, talking to a Medical Clerk, he said “Remember that Guy who came in with his mom, both shot, and she didn't make it?” I said, “yea, I worked on the mom...what about him?” Well! said the clerk... “he is going home today...but, after seeing the Medical Bill, for Him and his Mom, he probably wishes, that he was dead”. The size of that Bill, was horrendous, and no way, a poor, Black 18 or 19 year old kid, from the Ghettos of South Central LA, could have ever, paid it off. Now, that was over 30 years ago...what happens, to these people today?...with the price in Medical costs, so very much higher. Who gets stuck with the Bill??? You guessed it!

This case was in California, and even, though in a County Hospital, where Medicaid or “MediCal”, as was the case in California, at that time...would cover portions of the costs, it's still a huge amount, that is left uncovered, and the burden on families is tremendous...even more, if they don't have, or qualify for that medicaid. You are always, going to have cynics who like to say; “They are not going to pay, nothing!! they don't care...we end up paying their bills, all the time”...or, “They just let the state, take care of it, these people don't give a damn”. The reality of the matter is...that the majority of poor people, do have Values, Pride, and Honor...they don't want hand outs. But they need a little help. And, with the Cost of Living, continually rising...it's not just the lower class, but the middle class too, that is feeling the pinch.

There is just, too many people in this country, who can die...because of not having Medical Coverage...in fact, they are dying!...recently, Alisa Wilson, of Jacksonville, FL. was denied care, after her Medicaid, was outsourced to a Private Insurer...she needed a Liver Transplant...she died. I cannot understand, that, in a country as rich as the United States...people are dying, because, they simply, cannot afford the Medicine to live...that is a travesty, a black mark...in our Nation's history.

My question is: Why does anyone have to die...because, they cannot financially afford, to live? Healthcare Reform, was instituted, not too long ago. It has been proven, that Universal Health, has been a success, everywhere, that it has been implemented...the entire world has it!!

In a recent article, by the BBC News... a study made of the 7 most industrialized nations' Health Care Systems... The United Kingdom rated 1st as the most efficient. They were rated on; Efficiency, Access to Care, Quality, Equity, and Healthy Lives. Overall, The Netherlands, came in 1st, followed by the UK, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States last...not last in the world, but last, among the most Industrialized nations. The United States, consistently underperformed in most areas of Health Care relative to other countries... and includes, access to care and quality of care, whatever the background or income of the patient, despite the fact, that the US Health System is the most costly in the world. Pundits believe, that “since the US, instituted Universal Care, it will start to address this problem, and should begin to improve the affordability of Health Insurance and access to care when fully implemented by 2014”.

Until it was passed successfully, in Congress...the United States, was the only Civilized Country in the World, that lacked Universal Health...the only one!!! Why!!! Why!! has it taken so long, for America to follow, the rest of the World? This, I'm afraid... is where we begin to deal with Social Issues, and Class Issues... and where Political Demagogues and Business Opportunists, begin to stick their ugly heads, and turn an Ethical and Moral Issue, into an immoral rhetoric, for selfish financial greed, and/or political gains.

Nothing on Health Care Reform, will ever get accomplished...till we as a Nation decide, to abandon the Political Demagoguery, while putting out in front, and equate, all Medical Ethics and Moral Issues, with the Sanctity of Life.

Our Time, Is Coming Around Again

by David Arellanes

Bush and his poster children: Cheney, Rove, etc. have cost us, the middle class tax payers, $3,000,000,000.00 !!! THREE TRILLION DOLLARS! The Koch Bros. and Murdoch, and Cheney through Halliburton and Blackwater have made $$MILLIONS$$ off the backs of the middle class and poor. WE are all sick of their lies, theft, and outright fraud committed on the American people. They have caused the deaths of thousands of our brave American service men and women. NEEDLESSLY! BUSH and CHENEY started the IRAQ war to take the natural resources of Iraq, in the form of the oil, for their business buds in the oil industry. Their other corporate buds from black ops to the war manufacturing machine have made trillions at the expense of our lives and dollars. They have caused the deaths of ten-of-thousands of innocent people across Iraq and Afghanistan. We will NOT start another war for the WAR PROFITEERS to make trillions more for their own pockets. They will try to use their usual political and "patriotic" lines to raise the fever for war. They will try to use their usual "if your not with us then you are against us" line. They will tell us if we do not agree with them, then we are unpatriotic and are risking American's security. They will beat the drum that "we WILL be attacked!" They will try to convince us to "BE AFRAID" -- "BE VERY AFRAID". They want us to have all the FEAR they can muster into us. WELL IT WON'T WORK ANY MORE! We will not fall for those old lines and tactics any longer. We now recognize their lies and fraud. McCain and Graham, and all the rest of the war profiteers can get off their soapbox, because it won't work any more! Their end time is coming....NOT OURS. Our time is coming around again. Much too late, because they have had many people fooled for many years. But no more. We are now smarter. We have now woke up. They will not
bind us down any more. They will not tell us THEY know what is best for us. They can scream at the top of their lungs till they bleed. It wont work. We, the regular Citizens of America, know what is best for our country, and we will now take the lead in making sure our country works for the betterment of it's people....NOT THE CORPORATIONS. NOT the RICH! NOT the REPUBLICAN PARTY!
